About Me

I have been in Beirut, Lebanon since fall 2010 doing a Masters in Urban Planning and Policy at the American University in Beirut. Before moving to Beirut, I worked as a policy analyst in Washington D.C. focusing on the Middle East. I studied Political Science and Near Eastern Cultures and Languages at Indiana University- Bloomington, and spent my junior year in Cairo.

This blog will contain my reflections on living in Beirut, my regional travels, the food I come across and my developing ideas about urban planning.
